DESIGNMAI 2005: Youngsters

Apart from the exhibition, a number of events took place at the Kunstfabrik during the Designmai Festival: there were many parties, a cafeteria was open and there was access to some of the ateliers, where you could watch the designers and artists working there every day “through the back door”. The building was divided into the following zones: the showroom, the designlab and the clublab. A varied ambience was brought into different parts of the building by means of lighting, which was arranged by the group Luminaten (Andreas Schwarzburger, Steve Bendig, Christoph Freitag).
